Objectifs :

* Déterminer l’effet de l’hypoxie persistante et du minimum d’oxygène dissous sur la biogéochimie du fond marin et le rôle de l’apport de matière organique terrestre et de la reminéralisation sur la consommation d’oxygène;
* Déployer quatre mouillages d’hydrophones, constituant la station MARS, destinés à observer le bruit ambiant et généré par le trafic maritime dans l’estuaire du Saint-Laurent

Objectives:

– Determine the effect of persistent hypoxia and dissolved oxygen minimum on seafloor biogeochemistry and the role of terrestrial organic matter input and remineralization on oxygen consumption;

– Deploy four hydrophone moorings, constituting the MARS station, to observe ambient noise and noise generated by maritime traffic in the St. Lawrence Estuary
