SUMMARY:Mission Biopterre — Coriolis II
\n\n\n\n—– \n\n\n\nProject: Interdisciplinary study of fungi diversity in the St-Lawrence River \n\n\n\nPerson in charge: Catherine Bélanger \n\n\n\nInstitution: Biopterre and Cégep de La Pocatière \n\n\n\nSite: St-Lawrence River \n\n\n\nParticipating scientists: 14 \n\n\n\nObjective: Improving science teaching at Cégep de La Pocatière by using a regional case study to train students from various scientific disciplines with the aim of promoting interdisciplinarity\, focusing on the study of fungal diversity in the St. Lawrence River. \n\n\n\nThis interdisciplinary study has been conducted at five different stations through CTD-Rosette\, bottom trawling\, VanVeen\, sifting\, and the use of a plankton net.
