DESCRIPTION:Projet : Mission MPO-IML (automne) \nResponsable : Marjolaine Blais \nInstitution : Pêches et Océans Canada (MPO) \nSite : Estuaire et golfe du Saint-Laurent \nParticipants scientifiques : 10 \nObjectifs :  \nLeg 1 : \n*	Obtenir une couverture quasi synoptique du Golfe et Estuaire du St-Laurent en récoltant des données « CTD » (Conductivity\, Temperature\, Pressure/Depth)\, oxygène dissous\, chlorophylle a\, sels nutritifs\, pH/alcalinité\, salinité et des échantillons de phytoplancton et zooplancton\, aux 46 stations positionnées le long des 7 radiales du PMZA\, Région du Québec. *	En complément aux stations du PMZA\, échantillonner plusieurs autres stations supplémentaires (CH\, CMO\, IF\, etc.)\, toutes situées dans des secteurs clés du Golfe et de l’Estuaire du St-Laurent. Ces stations sont échantillonnées avec le même protocole que celui des stations PMZA\, sans toutefois y faire la collecte de phytoplancton et de Riki. \n  \nLeg 2 : \n*	Effectuer la calibration acoustique du sondeur du Coriolis II. *	Récolter des échantillons de sédiments marins au moyen de carottiers à boîte  \n—– \nProject: Mission DFO-IML (fall) \nPerson in charge: Marjolaine Blais \nInstitution: Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) \nSites:Estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence \nParticipating scientists: 10 \nObjectives:  \nLeg 1: \n– Obtain near-synoptic coverage of the Gulf and St. Lawrence Estuary by collecting CTD (Conductivity\, Temperature\, Pressure/Depth)\, dissolved oxygen\, chlorophyll a\, nutrient\, pH/alkalinity\, salinity\, and phytoplankton and zooplankton data at 46 stations located along the 7 radial lines of the ZAPM\, Quebec zooplankton. \n– Several moorings will be launched and/or recovered and/or replaced. – Monitoring a contaminant via the TreX project (rosette sampling) \n– A few oblique nets (JackNet) will be cast in the northwest of the Gulf to find krill individuals (~20 individuals). The ends of the TSI and TASO transects will be targeted\, as will the Riki echosounder. \n– Collect marine sediment samples using box corers
